Wilma Monical

Wilma Maxine Monical, age 93, of Salem, IL, passed away at 2:10 am, Monday, January 30, 2012, at Doctors Health And Rehab Center in Salem, IL. Wilma was born December 1, 1918 in Marion County, Illinois, the daughter of William and Jennie (Gentry) Hiestand. She was united in marriage with Roger Monical on December 8, 1936. Roger preceded her in death on August 24, 1984. Wilma was a homemaker and was a member of Pleasant Grove Methodist Church. She is survived by son-in-law, Darrel Hays of Salem; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Jennie Hiestand; husband, Roger Monical; daughter, Joann Eagan Hays; son-in-law, Bob Eagan; brother, Virgil Hiestand; sister, Erma Davis; and grandson, John William Eagan. Arrangements are being handled by the Neal Funeral Home in Kinmundy, IL where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Funeral service will be at the Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 2, 2012, Burial will be in the Summitt Prairie Cemetery.
