William White

William "Tex" White, age 62 of Kinmundy, IL, passed away at 11:40 PM on Sunday, October 11, 2015, at his home in Kinmundy, IL. Tex was born Monday, November 24, 1952 in Effingham, the son of the late Verle White and the late Aleitha (Simmons) White. He married Shirley Maske on November 24, 1976 in rural Kinmundy. He was employed by Salem Local 634 as a carpenter and millright. He was a veteran of the United State Army. Tex is survived by his wife Shirley of Kinmundy; sons, William Trevor (Sara) White of Kinmundy, Travis J. (fiancee Sara) White of Kinmundy; step-son, Andy (Nicole) Stuber of Normal, IL; daughter, Heather (Chris) Yates of Kinmundy; brothers, Bradley (Loretta) White of Kinmundy, Rickey (Diane) White of Kinmundy; sisters, Marlene (Melvin) Cook of Kinmundy, Brenda Elledge of Salem, IL; grand children, Megan and Adam Yates of Kinmundy, and Alyssa and Sydney Stuber of Normal, IL. He is preceded in death by his parents. Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home of Kinmundy. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at Neal Funeral Home, Kinmundy, Illinois. Military rites will be accordedby the Farina and Kinmundy American Legion. A private burial will take place at a later time. Memorial contributions may be sent to Kinmundy/Alma Fire Protection District or the Farina American Legion and will be received at the funeral home.
