Vivian Hale

Vivian Louise Hale, age 88, of Louisville, IL, passed away at 2:45 pm, Saturday, August 29, 2015, at Flora Gardens Care Center in Flora, IL. Vivian Louise was born Monday, April 4, 1927 in Oskaloosa Township, IL, the daughter of the late Willard and the late Nina (Smith) Dawkins. She married Clarence Shehorn on June 19, 1946 in Emma, Illinois and he preceded her in death on August 23, 1960. Later she married Jack Hale on February 5, 1962 in Vienna, IL and he survives in Flora, IL. She was self employed as a homemaker and was a member of Apostolic Faith Tabernacle Church in Flora. Vivian Louise is survived by son, Thomas Hale and wife Laura of Louisville, IL; daughters, Kathy Hagen and husband Larry of Louisville, IL and Carla Herring and husband Rick of Midwest City, OK; sister, Lucille Mefford of Louisville, IL; grand children Beth Etheridge and husband Landon of Effingham, Jill Evans of Albion, IL, Nicole Gray of Mt. Vernon, Rikki Herring of Midwest City, OK, Brian Hale of Fort Hood, TX; great grand children, Carson Etheridge, Lauren Etheridge, Trey Evans, Hagen Evans and Hunter Gray. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, brother Herman Dawkins and sister Illieen Trinkle. Arrangements will be handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Tuesday, September 1, 2015. Funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, September 1, 2105 at J. W. Neal Funeral Home. Interment will be in Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville, IL.
