Virginia Wright

Virginia Rae Wright, age 87, of Louisville, IL, passed away at 5:20 AM, Monday, April 15, 2013, at the Salem Township Hospital in Salem, IL. She was born March 17, 1926 in Iola, Illinois, the daughter of Silas and Gertrude (Krutsinger) Green. She was united in marriage with Hollis Wright on April 1, 1948 in Morganfield, Kentucky and with this union were a son and a daughter. Virginia was a faithful member of the Louisville Christian Church and enjoyed her time as a homemaker and helping Hollis with his home milk delivery. She is survived by son, Gary Wright of Vandalia; daughter, Sherry Gibson of Salem; brothers, Howard Green of Paris, Tennessee, and M.G. "Chub" Green and wife Kathleen of Louisville; sister, Violet Howe of Edwardsville; granddaughters, Heather Gibson and Tara Day; and great granddaughter, Shania Kincaid. Preceding her in death were her parents, Silas and Gertrude Green; infant brother, Archie Wayne Green; and sisters, Orpha Painter and Mildred Rogers. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville, IL where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, April 19, 2013. Funeral service will be at J. W. Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 19, 2013, Gary Kuhlig officiating. Interment will be at Red Brush Cemetery, Louisville, IL Memorials may be made the donor's choice and will be received at the funeral home.
