Vernon Poplett

Vernon J Poplett, age 84, of Louisville, IL, passed away at 12:55 pm, Sunday, September 8, 2013, at Flora Rehab & Healthcare Center in Flora, IL. Vernon was born Sunday, June 23, 1929 in Wimbledon, England, United Kingdom, the son of the James Poplett and Kathleen (Turtle) Poplett. He married Louise Rose Pippin-Poplett on November 17, 2003. She preceded him in death on November 28, 2008. He enjoyed his time as a caretaker of many people. He was a member of the Protestant faith and was baptized in the Church of England at an earlier age. He was also a veteran of the British Royal Air Force during the late 40's. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. He will be missed by neighbors and friends. Arrangments for a private service will be held at a later date by J.W. Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, IL. Interment will then be at Loy Chapel, Effingham, IL.
