Tonia Nelson

Tonia Nelson, 57, of Clay City, passed away at 8:20 am on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Flora Gardens Care Center in Flora. Tonia was born on August 27, 1961 in Decatur, the daughter of the late Bayne "B.B." and Sandra L. (Hampton) Tomlinson. She married Donald Edward "Donnie" Lewis on January 30, 2016 in Fairfield and he survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Meghan Taylor and Alexis Nelson both of Decatur, two step-sons, Keenan Schulz of Austin, Texas and Craig Lewis of Clay City, three step-daughters, Christy Fulk of Flora, Katrice Lewis and Kellie Lewis both of Mattoon, one grandson, Carter Perry, two sisters, Elisa (Randy) Ward of Carterville, Tennessee and Theresa "Terri" Brassard of Greenup and by several step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Tonia was preceded in death by a sister, Kimberly Ann Tomlinson-Tackaberry. Cremation rites have been accorded and private memorial services will be conducted. Inurnment will be in the Ingraham Cemetery. The Triplett & Neal Funeral Home in Louisville is in charge of the care and arrangements.
