Susie Wattles

Susie Wattles, age 68, of Ingraham, IL, passed away at 5:20 am, Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at her home in Ingraham, IL. Susie was born November 14, 1943 in Effingham, Illinois, the daughter of Tracy and Helen (Lewis) Lister. She was united in marriage with James Wattles on August 12, 1962 at the South Muddy Baptist Church. She enjoyed her time as a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She is survived by her husband, James Wattles of Ingraham; son, Scott Wattles and wife Sonja of Mattoon; daughters, Sherry Smith and husband Rob of Robinson and Tracey Richards and husband Lance of Newburgh, Indiana; grandchildren, Tara Richards of Boston, Ma, Tessa Richards of Newburgh, IN, Kari and Kirsti Wattles of Mattoon, and Thomas Smith of Robinson. Susie was preceded in death by her parents, Tracy Lister on December 30, 2010 and Helen Lister on October 18, 2006. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville, IL where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, July 26, 2012. Funeral service will be at J. W. Neal Funeral Home at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 27, 2012, Ronnie Hostettler officiating. Interment will be at South Muddy Cemetery, Ingraham, IL Memorials may be made to the Clay County Cancer Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.
