Stella Henson

Stella Bernice Henson, age 90, of Louisville, IL, passed away at 1:30 pm, Friday, April 17, 2015, at her home in Louisville, IL. Stella was born Saturday, May 17, 1924 in Farmer City, IL, the daughter of the late Ernie Pearl Woods and the late Harriet Bernice (Darnell) Woods. On December 01, 1945 she married Johnie Henson. He preceded her in death on March 31, 2003. She was employed by Flora Pavilion as an LPN and was a lifetime member of the Flora DAV. Stella is survived by niece Carla Budde of Buchanan, GA; brothers, Charles Woods of Watson, IL and Merle Woods of Paragould, AR; friend Mavis Spears of Olney, IL; special friends Robert and Erma Jones of Louisville; also many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded by her parents, husband, sisters Shirley Britton, Geneva Deason and Gretna Baker. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, IL where the family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Funeral service will be held at J.W. Neal Funeral Home at 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Interment will be at Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville, IL.
