Shirley Sill

KINMUNDY - Shirley Mae Sill (Brewer), 81, of Kinmundy, died at 2:25 PM, Monday, January 11th, 2021, at the SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born March 10th, 1939 in Tonti Township, daughter of the late Frank Brewer and Alice (Gillette) Brewer. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Gale D. Sill. They were married December 30th, 1955 in Salem. She was a devoted member of the Brown Christian Church in Kinmundy. She worked many years at Brown's in Farina and retired from Brown Shoe Company. She was a sweet, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Many know "The Three Sisters" and their laughter could be heard everywhere they went. They were always having way too much fun. She is survived by her son Jim D Sill and wife Deb Sill (Randolph) of Kinmundy; Granddaughter, ReAnna Smith (Sill), husband Kyle Smith of Columbia, IL and great-granddaughter Charlotte and Grandson Heath Sill of Kinmundy. Also, survived by sisters Alice Marie Harmon and husband, Red, of Xenia and Mary Jane Courson of Kinmundy. Along with all her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 5 brothers. Private family services will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery, Kinmundy, with Bro. John Horton officiating, burial will follow. McGriff & Triplett Funeral Home in Kinmundy is entrusted with the care and arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made for Brown Christian Church.
