Shirley Brown

Shirley Ann Brown, age 73, of Flora, IL, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL. She was born November 10, 1938 in Clay County, Illinois, the daughter of the late Darrell A. Logan and the late America Lucille (Martin) Logan. Shirley was united in marriage with Walter J. Brown on December 31, 1969 in Gillette, Wyoming. Walter preceded her in death on August 5, 2002. She was a homemaker and a member of the Flora Moose Lodge and a past member of the Flora Eagles Club. She is survived by daughters: Pam Hurst , Lucretia Lewis, Gina Sue Brown, and Savannah Brown, all of Flora, IL; grandchildren: Darrell Hurst, Shannon Fatheree, Josh Lewis, Sarah Zink, Raliegh Sanderson and Harley Brown; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son (Kenneth Wall in 1994), daughter (Tonna L Wall in 2003), and sister-in-law (Shirley Logan). Arrangements are being held at the J.W. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville. Services will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, December 23, 2011. No public visitation will be held. Interment will be at Oskaloosa Cemetery, Xenia, IL Memorials may be made to the family of Shirley Brown and will be accepted at the funeral home. Order Flowers
