Ruth Harrell

Ruth "Imogene" Harrell, age 90, passed away at 7:10 p.m., Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Morris Healthcare and Rehab Nursing Home in Morris, IL. Imogene was born July 1, 1921 in Wayne County, the daughter of James and Isabel (Stoops) Sessions. She married Lyman Eugene Harrell Sr. in March 1940 in Centralia, IL. She enjoyed her time as a beautician and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Channahon and a fomer member of Homemakers Extension on Marion County. Imogene is survived by son Lyman Eugene (Carolyn) Harrell Jr. of Channahon, IL, daughter Arline Isabel (David Mike) Moore of Blacksburg, VA, brother Charles (Colleen) Sessions of Flora, IL, grandchildren, Denise Harrell of Blue Island, IL, Mary (David) French of Channahon, IL, James R. (Heather) Moore of Indian Harbor Beach, FL, David R. Moore of Athens, OH, great grandchildren, Stephanie, Emma, Sara, Jalyn and Lucas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Mildred Galberth. Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 115 North Jefferson Street ~ PO Box 25, Kinmundy, IL where the family will recieve friends from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, Thursday, April 19, 2012. Funeral service will be at Neal Funeral Home at 12:30 pm, Thursday, April 19, 2012. Interment will be at Elder Cemetery of rural Kinmundy.
