Roy Wren

Roy Edward Wren, age 61 of Kinmundy, passed away at 12:40 am on Friday, October 6, 2017, at Centralia Manor in Centralia.. Roy was born Tuesday, May 15, 1956 in Saint Louis, MO, the son of the late Harold Wren and the late Ruth (Moore) Wren. On April 29, 1982 he was united in marriage to Carolyn Wilson in Saint Louis, MO. He was employed as a factory laborer and also worked in the oil fields. He loved hunting deer as well as going fishing for catfish. Roy is a veteran of the United States Navy. He is survived by wife Carolyn of Centralia; sons, Roy (Kristina) Wren of Kinmundy, and step sons, James (Sarah) Pursell of Saint Louis, MO and Kevin (Nico) Steinhauer; daughter, Tammy (Corey) Heinrich of Virginia Beach, VA; brothers, Harold (Barbara) Wren of Belleville, IL and Melvin Wren of Orlando, FL; sisters, Janet (Joseph) Sydow of Swansea, IL, Debra Wren of Saint Cloud, FL and Donna Robertson; 11 grand children and several neices and nephews. Roy is preceded in death by his parents, and daughter Carmen Burr. Arrangements are entrusted to Neal Funeral Home of Kinmundy.
