Rosetta Adams, age 94, of Mason, IL, passed away at 12:30 pm, Sunday, June 16, 2013 at her daughter's home in Flora, IL. Rosetta was born April 11, 1919 in Hord, Illinois, the daughter of Victor Oval and Daphne (Kesterson) Eytchison. She was united in marriage with Leonard Adams on February 17, 1937 in Tuscola, Illinois. She was employed for 30 years by Fedders Inc. in Effingham and was a member of Hord Congregational Christian Church. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Wilson and husband Stacey of Flora; granddaughters, Gina Michels of Clay City, and Jill McNeely of Cisne and their father Gerald McNeely of Effingham; great grandchildren, Logan Michels of Clay City, and Quade Coble of Fort Benning, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Daphne Eytchison; husband, Leonard Adams; infant son, Billy Lynn Adams; and brothers, Vernon and Paul Eytchison. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville, IL where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Tuesday, June 18, 2013. Funeral service will be at J. W. Neal Funeral Home at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, June 19, 2013, Daryl George officiating. Interment will be at Old Union Cemetery, Louisville, IL Memorial donations may be made to the Clay County Hospice or the Hord Congregational Christian Church and will be received at the funeral home.
