Ronald Kline

Ronald J Kline, age 74, of Kinmundy, IL,, passed away at 7:25 pm, Friday, November 22, 2013, at the Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon, IL. Ronald was born December 04, 1938 in West Virginia, the son of Michael Kline and Mary (Dinkabich) Miscik. He was united in marriage with Lena "Joan" Perry on May 8, 1982 in Alma, Illinois. He was a railroad lineman for the Union Pacific Railroad and an United States Veteran of the Air Force. He was a member of the Catholic Church and also a member of the Edgewood American Legion, Vandalia Masons, and the Shriniers. Ronald is survived by his wife, Lena "Joan" Kline of Kinmundy; his sons' mother, Nora A. Petrea of Wichita, Kansas; sons, Andrew J. Kline and fiancee Jill Warren of Kansas City, Missouri, and Gulf War Air Force Veteran Stephen R. Kline of Kansas City, Missouri; step sons, Bradley Charlton of Salem, and Eddie and wife Sheila Charlton of Alma; sisters, Shirley Barret of West Frankfort, and Gloria Rotramel of Virginia; grandchildren, Kylee Kline, Kori Kline, Rachel Winkel, Michael Charlton, Cody Charlton, Blake Charlton, and Kaylee Charlton; and eight great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, Michael Kline and Mary Miscik; and step son, Jeffrey Charlton on October 29, 2013. Arrangements are being handled by the Neal Funeral Home in Kinmundy, IL. Cremation rites will be accorded and a private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
