Robert Mulvany

Robert Eugene Mulvany, age 57, of Patoka, IL, passed away at 5:17 pm, Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia. Bob was born July 8, 1955 in Marion County, Illinois, the son of Ernie and Maxine (Rooksberry) Mulvany. In May of 1991 in Effingham, Illinois, he married Melinda Ritchey and together had two sons. They later divorced Bob was employed by the Sherwin-Williams Distribution Center in Effingham. He loved Sports and graduated in the Class of 1973 at Kinmundy-Alma High School. Bob is survived by his sons, Brendan and Casey Mulvany of Patoka; brothers, Greg Mulvany of Vandergrift, PA, and James Mulvany and wife Janet of Kinmundy; sisters, Donna Wands of Brook, Indiana, Sue Hampsten and husband Dennis of Clay City, Glenda Krutsinger and husband Harold "Sonny" of Kinmundy, and Cindy Dippoid and husband Gary of Farina; aunt, Helen Corrie of Kinmundy; nineteen nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernie and Maxine Mulvany; and brother-in-law, Eldon Wands. Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home in Kinmundy, IL where the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 4, 2013. Funeral service will be at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 4, 2013, David Rodgers officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Kinmundy, IL Memorial donations may be made to the Donor's Choice and will be received at the funeral home.
