Raymond Williamson

Raymond M. Williamson, age 88, of Louisville, IL, passed away at 6:00 am on Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Effingham Health & Rehabilitation in Effingham, IL. Raymond was retired from the 76 Truckstop in Effingham where he was an assistant manager and was a member of the Bethel Christian Church. He was an United States Army Veteran serving in the World War II. He was born February 13, 1924, the son of Elsworth and Myrtle (Colclasure) Williamson. He was united in marriage with Marceline Herrick on July 13, 1944 in Iola, Illinios. He is survived by his wife, Marceline Williamson of Louisville; daughter, Karen S Williamson of Louisville; sons, Raymond M Williamson, Jr. and wife Nancy of Effingham, Robert H Williamson and wife Carol of Flora, and James A Williamson of Niantic, IL; grandchildren, Rene Wood, Michael Williamson, Amy Adams and husband Stephen, Erik Williamson and wife Dannette, and Joseph Williamson; great great grandchildren, Bethany Williamson and Evan Williamson. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Elsworth and Myrtle Williamson; and brother, Robert P. Williamson. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville, IL where the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 26, 2012. Funeral service will be at J. W. Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 26, 2012, Dallas Bear will be officiating and interment will be at the Oskaloosa Cemetery, Xenia, IL.
