Randy Everett Roberson, age 45, of Louisville, Illinois, passed away at 6:36 am, Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Clay County Hospital in Flora, Illinois.
Born on June 20, 1981, in Jesup, Georgia, the son of Franklin and Rhonda (Lolies) Roberson.
Randy was a dedicated team lead in the deli department at Walmart in Vandalia, IL; Brownsville, TN; and Centralia, IL; Then he switched to front end associate at Flora IL where he cultivated relationships with coworkers and customers alike. He took great pride in his work and brought joy to everyone around him.
An avid outdoorsman, Randy found solace in nature. He cherished his time spent fishing, often seeking out serene waters to enjoy the tranquility that surrounded him. Randy's adventurous spirit shone through in his travels with his beloved fiance, Andrea McBride. Together, they explored new places, created lasting memories, and shared a deep love for attending St. Louis Cardinals baseball games, concerts and having smoke sessions with friends and loved ones.
Randy is survived by his fiance: Andrea McBride of Louisville, Illinois; mother and stepfather: Rhonda (Donald) Young of Cerro Gordo, Illinois; adoptive parents: Cherie (Terry) Ray of Strawsburg, Illinois; step-children: Patrick Stolle, Jr, of Louisville, Illinois; Jesslyn Stolle of Louisville, Illinois; Ayribella Thomas of Louisville, Illinois; siblings: Franklin Roberson of Georgia, Donnie (Stephanie) Young of Cerro Gordo, Illinois, Larry (Amanda) Young of Decatur, Illinois and many other family members blood and that he adopted as his.
Randy was preceded in death by his father: Franklin Roberson; daughter: Hannah Roberson; brother: Kenny.
It was Randy's wishes for cremation, and a Celebration of Life service was held prior to his passing, so no formal services will be held.
