Phyllis Perkins

Phyllis Darlene Perkins, 71 of Louisville, Illinois passed away on Monday, January 16, 2012, at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, Indiana. She was born April 3, 1940 in Olney, Illinois to the late Harvey Gumbel and the late Alberta (Frank) Gumbel. She was the former owner and operator of The Courthouse Cafe in Louisville. Those left to cherish memories of the life of Phyllis are son, Tony Dyer and wife Michelle of Marion, IL, daughters, Teresa Harper of Louisville, IL, Beverly Marshall of Saint Joseph, MO and Debbie DeRyke and husband Dale of Watson, IL, brother, Harvey Gumbel, Jr. and wife Martha of Kansas City, KS; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Gumbel of Sailor Springs, IL, and Norma Jean Gumbel of Flora, IL; Nine grand children, twelve great grand children and a host of family and friends who will all miss her dearly. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Alberta Gumbel; brothers, Robert Gumbel and Eugene Gumbel; and an infant sister Joeitta Gumbel. Order Flowers
