Phyllis Lane

Phyllis Ann Lane, age 69, of Kinmundy, IL, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at 8:05 am in her home in Kinmundy, IL. Phyllis was born April 22, 1942 in Patoka, Illinois, the daughter of Robert Eldon and Mary Ella (Collins) Bowen. She married Jerry Bopp and he preceded her in death in 1972. February 8, 1974, in Centralia, Illinois, she was then married with Larry Lane. Phyllis was employed by the South Central School District as a teacher's aide and driver and was a member of Brown Christian Church. She is survived by her husband, Larry Lane of Kinmundy; sons, Kendall Bopp and wife Lisa of Wentworth, MO, Shane Bopp and wife Sherry of Robinson, IL, Shannon Bopp and wife Dawn of Altamont, IL, and Lance Lane of O Fallon, IL; sister, Nancy Freels of Centralia, IL; grand children, Jordan, Kelsey, Cameron Bopp, Kari & Parker Bopp and Hannah, Abby and Levi Bopp. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Bowen and first husband, Jerry Bopp. Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home in Kinmundy, IL. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Sunday, January 29, 2012 and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, January 30, 2012 at the Brown Christian Church in Kinmundy, IL. Funeral service will be at the Brown Christian Church at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 30, 2012, Interment will be at Phillips Cemetery, Kinmundy, IL Memorials may be made to the Oil Belt Christian Service Camp in Flora, Illinois and will be recieved at the funeral home.
