Phyllis Cooper

Phyllis Lee Cooper, age 77, of Flora, IL, passed away at 12:42 am, Friday, May 25, 2012, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon, IL. Phyllis was born August 27, 1934 in Louisville, IL, the daughter of the late Alfred Hayes and the late Lola Moore Hayes Welty. She married Joseph Cooper of Flora, IL on April 14, 1953 in Louisville, IL. She enjoyed her time as a homemaker and was a faithful member of the Orchardville Community Church. She was also a member of the Flora Eagles Club. Phyllis is survived by son, Lee Cooper (fiancee Donna Goldman) of Flora, IL, daughters, Chris Dial (Tom Hardy) of Louisville, IL, Pam Lewis (Danny) of Louisville, IL, Vicki Feldhake (Roy) of Louisville, IL and Toni Linder (Alan) of Kinmundy, IL; 13 grand children; 28 great grand children and 1 great great grand child. A graveside funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Orchard Hill Cemetery located at Route 45 Louisville, Illinois 62858. Interment will be in Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville, IL. Memorial contributions may be sent to Clay County's Relay For Life or Donor's Choice and can also be received at the J.W.
