Patricia Moses

Patricia R. Moses, 90, of Kinmundy, passed away at 11:47 am on Monday, August 31, 2020 at SSM St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia. She was born on June 21, 1930 in Saint Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Angela Shelton. Patricia married Lindell George Lee Moses on October 27, 1951 in Pocahontas, Arkansas and he preceded her in death on September 5, 2010. Patricia attended Saint Theresa's Catholic Church in Salem. Patricia had worked at Xenia Manufacturing as an assembler for many years until her retirement. She loved knitting, crocheting, shopping, watching birds, playing cards and liked to fish in her younger years. As Patricia aged, she had often said that she had felt younger by keeping herself active. She also had a love for Saint Louis Cardinal's baseball. Mrs. Moses is survived by a son; Ronald Patrick (Tina) Moses of Kinmundy, a daughter; Janet Lee George of Smithville, Missouri, a brother; Jerry Shelton of Saint Louis, Missouri, grandchildren; Sarah (Steven) Folliard of Nashville, Tennessee, Jaret and Jacey George both of Smithville, Missouri, Clarissa Weidner of Milstadt, Derrick and Blake Toler both of Salem, four great grandchildren; Lucian and Collins Folliard, Aubrey Beezhold, Serenity Hofarth and by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son; Louis "Rosebud" George Moses and by a sister; Elizabeth Peters. Graveside services honoring the life of Patricia will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Evergreen Cemetery in Kinmundy. Bro. Shannon Bopp will officiate. Triplett & Neal Funeral Home in Kinmundy is in charge of the care and arrangements. Memorial contributions in memory of Patricia are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
