Nancy Joyce Kline, 86, of Salem, passed away at 9:50 AM on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Salem Township Hospital. Mrs. Kline was born in Centralia on August 22, 1932 the daughter of the late William and Mattie (Wert) Galbreath. She married Darrell Kline on September 17, 1950 in Salem and he preceded her in death on December 13, 1994. Nancy worked alongside her husband and son for many years at Darrell's Pump Repair and helped manage their family farm. She enjoyed watching her television programs and discussing politics and bible study with family and friends. She is survived by her son, Keith (Mary Jo) Kline of Salem, 2 grandchildren, Jennifer (Marc)Miller of Mount Vernon and Samantha (Dale) Leasher of Mason, 3 great grandchildren, Tessa, Tate and Taylor, a brother, Bill Galbreath of Alton, 3 sisters, Merrill Fromme of Wood River, Elaine Galbreath of Valdosta, GA and Paula Diuguid of Cottage Hills and by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Hammond and Donna Toner. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Summit Prairie Cemetery in rural Salem with Pastor Ron Payne officiating.
