Millicent Fogerson

Millicent "Mitzi" Rae Fogerson, 77, of Alma, passed away at 4:10 am on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at her home. She was born on April 26, 1943 in Salem, the daughter of Frances (Prather) Mulvaney and the late Archie Mulvaney. Millicent married Harold Dean Fogerson on July 2, 2005 at Forbes Lake and he survives. Mrs. Fogerson was an office manager for Kane Insurance Services in Salem for several years. Mitzi was also the Alma city clerk for a number of years. She loved to go fishing with Dean. Mitzi enjoyed bird watching, gardening, attending her granddaughter Summer's track meets and basketball games, sewing, crocheting, knitting and making crafts; especially Christmas crafts. One of the things that she loved to do was to go out to Salem Park and feed the wild foxes. In addition to her husband, Dean and her mother Frances, Millicent is survived by a son; Jon (Dina) Sanders of Harrisburg,granddaughter; Summer Sanders of Harrisburg, a brother; Tom (Gail) Mulvaney of Inglewood, Florida, a sister; Mona Mulvaney,step sons; Mike Roth, Jerry Fogerson and Mike Fogerson and by very good friends; Russell and Bobbi Swift of Alma. Graveside services honoring the life of Millicent will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 7, 2020 at Alma Cemetery in Alma. Dr. Mike Fogerson will officiate. A public celebration of life will be held at a later date and will be announced. McGriff & Triplett Funeral Home in Kinmundy is in charge of the care and arrangements. Memorial contributions in memory of Millicent are suggested to the family and will be accepted through the funeral home.
