Mary Lane

Mary Charlton Lane, age 100, of Kinmundy, IL, passed away at 12:16 pm, Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Doctors Health And Rehab Center in Salem, IL.. Mary was born October 19, 1911 in Alma Township, Illinois, the daughter of James T. and Sarah (Shaffer) Charlton. She was united in marriage with Cecil H. Lane on January 14, 1930 in Kinmundy, Illinois. He preceded her in death on June 21, 1978. She is survived by son, Carl B. Lane of Laclede; grandchildren, Kathy McCarty of Kinmundy, Kevin Lane and wife Diane of Kinmundy. Kenneth Lane and wife Marie of Patoka, Brenda York and husband Brian of Mason, Carla Linder of Salem and Mike Cole and wife Crystal of Laclede; seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded by her parents, James and Sarah Charlton; husband, Cecil Lane; son, James C. Lane; and brothers, Sammy, Henry and Jess Charlton. Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home in Kinmundy, IL. Graveside service will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Kinmudy at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 1, 2012, Memorials may be made to the Evergreen Cemetery road and culvert fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.
