Mary Grahn

Mary Alice Grahn, age 79, of Louisville, IL, passed away at 4:05 pm, Saturday, April 7, 2012, at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL. Mary was born April 20, 1932 in Clay County, Illinois, the daughter of Lyman D. and Edna (Fitch) Haynes. She was united in marriage with Robert "Bob" Julias Grahn on October 17, 1953 at the First Christian Church in Flora, Illinois. She was a faithful member of the Old Union Church of Christ serving as treasurer and secretary for years. Mary is survived by her sons, David Grahn and wife Debra and Dennis Grahn and wife Carolyn both of Louisville; daughter, Darla Czyzewski and husband Frank of Louisville; brother, Jerry Haynes of South Carolina; sister-in-law, Helen Grahn of Louisville; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lyman and Edna Haynes; husband, Bob Grahn; brothers, Donald and John Haynes; Sister-in-law, Margaret Hall; and brother-in-law, Paul Grahn. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, IL. Funeral service will be at J. W. Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 11, 2012, Gene Birch officiating. Interment will be at Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville, IL Memorials may be made to the Old Union Church of Christ.
