Mary Bible

Mary E Bible, , age 92, of Louisville, IL, passed away at 3:30 pm, Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Lakeland Rehabiliation & Health Care Center in Effingham, IL. Mary was born June 12, 1920 in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of John and Ella Mae Young. She was united in marriage with Herbert W. Bible on July 6, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri and to this union one son and three daughters were born. Herbert preceded her in death on June 27, 2004. Mary was employed for 27 years by the Burkes Food Market in Louisville and was a member of the Louisville United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son, Jerry Bible and wife Carolyn of Louisville; daughters, Jean Walker and husband Bill of Strasburg, Vickie McGee and husband Robert of Effingham, and Sharon Nelson and husband Larry of Olney; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, seven step great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and five step great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ella Mae Young; and husband, Herbert Bible. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville, IL where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 3, 2013. Funeral service will be at J. W. Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 3, 2013, Rev. Howard Bell officiating. Interment will be at Floral Garden of Memories, Flora, IL Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Louisville United Methodist Church and will be received at the funeral home.
