Marla Williams

Marla Jean Williams, age 56, of Salem, IL passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at Salem Township Hospital in Salem, IL. Marla was born Saturday, May 18, 1957 in Flora, IL, the daughter of Larry Logan and the late Geraldine (Lammers) Hoard. She married Terry Williams in 2001 in Salem, IL. She was self employed as a homemaker and babysitter. She enjoyed her time babysitting her newphew Levi Logan and also loved spending time with her family. Marla is survived by husband, Terry of Salem, IL; father, Larry Logan of Farina, IL; step-daughters, Stephany Williams of Salem, IL, Jessica Bullock of Mt. Vernon, IL; brothers, Christopher Logan of Salem, IL and Jay Logan of Bloomington, IL; step-brothers, Rick Hoard of Salem, IL, Gary Hoard of Iola, IL; half-sisters, Sherry Hays of Iuka, IL, Dani Probst of Watson, IL; step-sisters, Linda Biermann of Centralia, IL, Cheri Davis of Centralia, IL, Cathy Jourdan of Centralia, IL; grandchildren, Natalie Burgess, Caleb Vaughn, Caden Vaughn and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home, Kinmundy, IL. A graveside funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Oskaloosa Cemetery, Xenia, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
