Marianne Moffett-Bartels

Marianne Irma Evelin Moffett-Bartels, age 74, of Louisville, IL,, passed away at 6:55 pm, Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Flora Healthcare and Rehab Center in Flora, IL. Marianne was born January 23, 1938, in Berlin, Germany, the daughter of Paul and Irma (Kollek) Gabrich. She married Harold Lloyd Moffett on May 24, 1958 in Berlin, Germany and he preceded her in death in October of 1990. She then married Larry Dale Bartels in Louisville, IL on December 24, 2011. She was a member of the Red Brush Christian Church in Louisville and attended the Senior Saints Ministry. She was a member of the Louisville American Legion Auxiliary and she had been employed as a cook for the Finley-Sharon High School in Finley, North Dakota. Marianne is survived by her husband, Larry Bartels of Flora; son, James Lloyd Moffett and wife Kristi of Carlin, Nevada; daughters, Shari Snobeck and husband John of Mekinock, North Dakota, Camela Haugen and husband John of East Grand Forks, Minnesota, and Renee Keller and husband Gene of Louisville; twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Irma Gabrich; husband, Harold Moffett; and grandson, Josh Keller. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, IL. Memorial service will be at Red Brush Christian Church at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 15, 2012, Dusty Elmore officiating. Interment will be at Red Brush Cemetery, Louisville, IL Memorials may be made to the Red Brush Christian Church Youth Fund (Oil Belt Church Camp Tuition) and will be received at the funeral home and the church.
