Margie Fleming

Margie Mae Fleming, age 85 of Kinmundy, IL, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at her home in Kinmundy. Margie was born Sunday, August 30, 1931 in Pike County, KY where coal is the main industry and where the Hatfield's and McCoy's fueded in the Hills. She was the daughter of Creed Tackett and Virgie Tackett. She married Clarence Foster "Babe" on March 9, 1973 and he preceded her in death on March 26, 2016. She married Robert Fleming "Bob" in July 5, 1973 and he preceded her in death on November 8, 2010. Aunt Margie was never blessed with children of her own but helped mentor and mother many nieces and nephews. She was small but fiesty. With the help of her faithful caregiver she was able to stay in her home until the Lord took her to be with Him. Thank you to Darlene Long and Misty Feather for your loving care. She was preceded by her parents, husbands Babe and Bob; brothers, Cazzie Tackett and John Henry Tackett; sisters, Hester McPeek, Opal Schierman, Alberta Frye and Norma Jean Roberts. Arrangements are entrusted to Neal Funeral Home in Kinmundy. Cremation rites will be accorded and no services will be held at this time.
