Margaret Christoffel

Margaret M Christoffel, age 94, of Farina, IL, passed away at 3:54 am Monday, December 22, 2014, at the Evergreen Nursing and ReHab in Effingham, IL. Margaret was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 01, 1920, the daughter of Nikolaus and Clara (Saal) Jeck. She was united in marriage with Thomas A. Christoffel in 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri. She is survived by her son, Thomas A. Christoffel Jr. and wife Dawn of Richwoods, Missouri; daughters, Linda Miller and husband Fred of Farina and Deborah Christoffel of Kinmundy; grandson, William J. Miller and wife Amy of Farina; and great grandsons, Kevin and Chris Miller of Altamont. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nikolaus and Clara Jeck; husband, Thomas Christoffel; one brother and one sister. Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home in Kinmundy, IL. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM, Friday, December 26, 2014 at the Evergreen Cemetery. Funeral service will be at Evergreen Cemetery at 10:30 AM, Friday, December 26, 2014, Father Larry Lemay officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Kinmundy, IL Memorial donations may be made to the Marion County Relay for Life and will be recieved at the cemetery or funeral home.
