Margaret Barbee

Margaret Mae Barbee, age 86, of Louisville, IL, passed away at 8:05 am on Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon, IL. Margaret was born Friday, August 2, 1929 in Bible Grove, IL, the daughter of the late William Lewis and the late Norva (Jordan) Lewis. She married James L. Barbee on May 04, 1947 at their home in Bible Grove. He preceded her in death on October 5, 2013. She was employed by Fedders Inc. as a factory worker and was a member of Red Brush Christian Church. Margaret is survived by sons, Larry (Betty) Barbee of Louisville, IL and Victor Ray (Erma Pearl) Barbee of Louisville, IL, daughter, Loretta Sue (Jerry)Goebel of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Darren (Julie) Barbee of Louisville, Ryan (Brenda) Barbee of Effingham, Chad (Laine) Barbee of Louisville, Anthony Barbee of Cincinnati, OH, Shelli (Tom) Hopper and Shauna Wing both of Lexington, KY, Sheena (Ben) Richards of Tolono, Donald Barbee of Monticello, Christopher (Shivon) Barbee of Kentucky, Justin Barbee of Louisville; and eight great grand children. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home, Louisville. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 2, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Red Brush Christian Church in Louisville. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Red Brush Christian Church with a one hour visitation prior at 9:00 AM. Interment will be in Red Brush Cemetery, Louisville, IL. Memorial contributions may be sent to Oil Belt Christian Service Camp and will be received at the funeral home.
