Marceline Williamson

Audra Marceline Williamson, age 87, of Louisville, IL, passed away at 7:44 pm, Friday, April 26, 2013, at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL. She was born November 5, 1925 in Iola, Illinois, the daughter of Harris and Martha (Jones) Herrick. She was united in marriage with Raymond Myrl Williamson on July 15, 1944 in Iola, Illinois and with this union were three sons and one daughter. Marceline was a faithful member of the Bethel Christian Church and enjoyed her time as a homemaker and caring for children in her daycare. She is survived by her sons, Raymond M. Williamson Jr. and wife Nancy of Effingham, Robert H. Williamson of Flora, and James A. Williamson of Niantic; daughter, Karen S. Williamson of Louisville; brothers, James Herrick and wife Erma, and William Herrick and wife Sherry both of Iola; grandchildren, Rene Wood, Michael Williamson, Amy Adams and husband Stephen, Erik Williamson and wife Dannette, and Joseph Williamson; great grandchildren, Bethany Seger and husband Brandon, and Evan Williamson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harris and Martha Herrick; husband, Raymond Myrl Williamson on February 23, 2012, daughter-in-law, Carol Williamson, and sisters, Jackie Allen and Joan Savage. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville, IL where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, April 29, 2013. Funeral service will be at J. W. Neal Funeral Home at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 30, 2013, Dallas Bear and Steve Adams officiating. Interment will be at Oskaloosa Cemetery, Xenia, IL Memorial donations may be made to the Bethel Christian Church or the Donor's Choice and will be received at the funeral home.
