Madonna Hoyt

Madonna Eileen Hoyt, age 79, of Kinmundy, IL, passed away at 4:33 pm, on Monday, February 1, 2016, at her home in Kinmundy, IL. Madonna was born Sunday, November 22, 1936 in Saint Louis, MO, the daughter of the late Anthony and the late Margaret Mary (Reed) Pusateri. On March 23, 1983, at the St. Louis County Courthouse, she married William "Jack" Hoyt and he preceded her in death on August 6, 2009. She was employed by Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator, and also worked for Schnuck's and Kroger's later in life. She was a loving caregiver for many in her family and belonged to the Farina American Legion Auxillary. Madonna is survived by her sister- in-law Connie Garrett of Salem, IL, niece, Patricia Hamilton of Florissant, MO and a loving aunt to many many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Anthony Glennon Pusateri, Donald Pusateri, Thomas Pusateri and sister Peggy Wood. Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home of Kinmundy, where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, February 5, 2016. A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kinmundy, IL.
