Luella "Dorothea" Morris, age 93, of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Clay County Hospital, in Flora, IL. Dorothea was born September 10, 1923, at Idaho Grove, Iowa to Ross and Minnie (Davis) Enyart. She was a high school graduate of North Clay. She was also a beautician, and a member of Golden Trinity United Methodist Church. On October 6, 1947 she married George Morris, Jr. in Effingham, IL. She was retired from Spartan Manufacturing and enjoyed mowing, gardening and canning in her earlier life. She enjoyed pretty flowers and in her later life she enjoyed writing letters and sending cards to her friends. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Marietta Enyart of Louisville, and Nancy Morris of Marion, IL, several nieces and nephews, several great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews and many friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, brother and three nephews. Arrangements are being entrusted with Neal Funeral Home of Louisville where the family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 29, 2016. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 10:00 am also at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Floral Garden of Memories.
