Louanna Burton

Louanna “Ann” Burton, 89, of Geneva, Illinois passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022, at DeKalb Rehab and Nursing Center in DeKalb, Illinois.

Ann was born February 3, 1933, in Hord, the daughter of Don and Thelma (Britton) Williams. She married Johnny “John” Burton on January 17, 1953, who preceded her in death in December 2017, after 64 years of marriage.

She is survived by three daughters; Susan Burton of Wheaton, IL, Rinda (Gary) Swan of Belvidere, IL, and Sally Garrison of Wheaton, IL; and three grandchildren Ann (Adam) Carnell, Bennett Garrison and Bailey Swan.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ann was preceded in death by her sisters Donna Jean Turner and Mary Lovekamp.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2022, at Old Union Cemetery in Bible Grove with Gene Birch officiating. Those attending are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the McGriff & Triplett Funeral Home, Louisville. In lieu of flower donations may be given to the charity of donor’s choice and will be accepted thru the funeral home, and at the cemetery.
