LOUISVILLE - Lou Ann Cruse, 60, of Louisville passed away at 12:34 AM, Thursday, April 15, 2021 at her home.
Lou Ann was born on June 1, 1960, in Danville, Illinois the daughter of the late Donald Powell, Sr., and Evea Louise Lewis. She married Billy Cruse on June 11, 1988, in Louisville and they shared 27 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on December 2, 2015. Lou Ann was a homemaker and loved to raise flowers especially roses, and really loved to be with her grandchildren.
Lou Ann is survived by her 5 children; Joseph (Tara) Cruse, of Great Bend, Kansas, Phillip (Crystal) Cruse, of Flora, Billy Cruse, of Great Bend, Kansas, William (Gabriella) Cruse, of Louisville, Crystal Cruse, of Louisville, 9 grandchildren with one on the way. She is also survived by 1 brother; Donald Powell, Jr., of Louisville, 2 sisters; Kandy McCormick, of Flora, Tina Persinger, of Flora.
Lou Ann was preceded in death by her parents, and 1 brother; Marty Powell.
It was Lou Ann's wishes for cremation and no services will be held. McGriff & Triplett Funeral Home in Louisville is entrusted with the care and arrangements.
