Lora L. Bailey, 91, passed away at 2:10 am, Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at the River Crossing of Alton, in Alton, Illinois.

She was born on July 17, 1931, in Flora the daughter of Earl W. and Edna (Lents) Lytton. She married James D. Bailey in Louisville on April 10, 1949, and he preceded her in death in 1980.

Lora is survived by her sister: Linda Uchitjil of Odin; sons: Mark Bailey of Montesano, Washington, John Bailey of Alton, Illinois; daughters: Ann Bailey of Grafton, Illinois, Becky Gerber of Batchtown, Rhonda Bailey, of Pennsylvania, Danielle Bailey of Pennsylvania, Georgia McGrath of Jerseyville; grandchildren: Jacosha Bailey, Joshua Bailey; great grandchildren: Shyanna, Kaeleb, Jayla, Shaun, Merissa, Braiyden, Makaylah, Sierra, Gita, and Kaylin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son: Danny Bailey, granddaughters: Krystle Bell and Shanna Lyons; great grandchildren: Kelsey Ann and Harley; 2 brothers: Richard Lytton, and Dale Lytton; 1 sister: Ella Mae Dixon.

Graveside services to honor the life of Lora will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the Red Brush Cemetery, Louisville. Burial will follow. There will be a short visitation at the cemetery on Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:00 pm. The McGriff Funeral Home in Louisville is entrusted with the care and arrangements.
