Lois Willson

Lois Lorene Willson, age 90, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015, at 12:45 AM at her home in Effingham, IL. Lois was born Saturday, December 13, 1924 in Wayne County, IL, the daughter of the late Wayne Walker and the late Chloe (Farris) Walker. She was employed by Beverly Health Care and by others in the health industry as a secretary, nursing assistant, and restaurant manager and cook. Lois is survived by son, Linden L. (Maritza) Willson of Bentonville, AR; daughter, Linda (Lee) Stapel of Effingham, IL; sister, Marjorie Allen of Cisne, IL; 5 grand children; 11 great grand children and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, one brother, several aunts, uncles, cousins and one great niece. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, IL. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at Laird Cemetery, near Enterprise in rural Cisne, Illinois. A Funeral service will follow at 1:30 PM on Wednesday at the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association and will be received by the funeral home.
