Lois Smith

Lois Imogene Smith, age 93, of Louisville, IL, passed away at 9:21am, Saturday, September 27, 2014, at the Lakeland Rehabiliation & Health Care Center in Effingham, IL. Imogene was born May 03, 1921 in Clay County, Illinois, the daughter of Otis and Ora (Hale) Krutsinger. She was united in marriage with Enoch "Coban" Smith on November 07, 1939 in Clay County, Illinois. He preceded her in death on June 06, 1987. She enjoyed her time as a loving wife, mother and homemaker. Imogene leaves to mourn her passing, sons, Paul Smith and wife Fran of Louisville, and Lyle Smith and wife Leah of Toledo; daughters, Erma Jones and husband Bob of Louisville, and Merle Smith of Mason; twelve grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren, thirty-five great great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Ora Krutsinger; husband, Coban Smith; daughter, Una Marie Colclasure; brothers, Everett Krutsinger, and Leslie Krutsinger; and sister, Stacy Leo Lions. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville, IL where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Funeral service will be at J. W. Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 30, 2014, Cecil Cochran officiating.
