Lois Pauline Habbe, age 85, of Louisville, IL, passed away at 1:00 am, Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at the Flora Rehab & Healthcare Center in Flora, IL. Lois was born May 15, 1927 in Louisville, Illinois, the daughter of Henry C. and Beulah B. (Fugate) Daugherty. She was united in marriage with Dean Edward Habbe on December 18, 1948 in Kentucky and to this union one son was born. Dean preceded her in death on July 08, 2009. She was a devoted homemaker and also worked several years at Beltronics and Western Electric. She was a faithful member of the St. John's Lutheran Church. She is survived by brothers, Gary Daugherty and wife Marge of Louisville, and Ralph Daugherty and wife Diane of Xenia; sisters, Mildred Griffy of Mt. Vernon, and Lucille Roark of Champaign; grandchildren, Lara Casolari and husband Scott of Louisville and Stevie Habbe of Flora; great grandchildren, Madisyn, Andrew and Harper Casolari; and Tatyanna Webber; brother-in-law, Ray Habbe and wife Sue of Effingham; and sisters-in-law, Joyce Wolfe of Galesburg and Margene Daugherty of Aurora. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Beulah Daugherty; husband, Dean Habbe; son, Laren Habbe; brothers, Bert and Jim Daugherty; sisters, Donna Ashley and Dorothy Griffy. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville, IL where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, September 27, 2012. Funeral service will be at St. John's Lutheran Church at 10:30 AM, Friday, September 28, 2012 with an hour of visitation prior to services, Ryan Eden officiating. Interment will be at St. John's Cemetery, Louisville, IL Memorials may be made to the St. John's Building and Cemetery Fund or Clay County Hospice.
