Larry Albert

Larry Dennis Albert, age 64 of Salem, IL, passed away at 3:16 pm on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Salem Township Hospital in Salem, IL. Larry was born Tuesday, April 15, 1952 in Salem, the son of the late Loren Albert and the late Emogene (Caldwell) Albert. He was self employed as a mechanic and was a great musician who loved to play. He is survived by sons, William Dennis Hodge of Salem, IL, Dale (Tracy) Albert of Salem, IL and Dennis Albert of Kinmundy, IL; daughters, Hollie Frazier of Salem, IL and Amber Taylor of Salem, IL; brothers, Kenny (Daisy) Albert of Salem, IL and Roger Albert of Salem, IL; sisters, Wanda Davis of Salem, IL, Barbara Hoffman of Idaho and Mary (Charles) Ballard of Arkansas; two very close friends that were like brothers, Kris Gammon and Michael Landes; 11 grand children; 3 great grand children. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Robbie Albert, brothers Ray and Keith Albert, brother-in-law Joe Davis, and sister Martha Flaugher. Arrangements are entrusted to Neal Funeral Home, Kinmundy, where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the funeral home. A celebration of life will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Martin Cemetery, Alma, IL.
