Kay Hinkle

Kay Anita Hinkle, age 71, of Cisne, IL passed away at 9:22 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born Tuesday, November 9, 1943 in Farina, IL, the daughter of the late Richard Pemberton and the late Anita (Wodkta) Pemberton. On September 23, 1976 she married Jerry Hinkle in Salem, IL. She was self employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant and home care giver. She was also a member of Friedens United Church of Christ. Kay is survived by her husband Jerry of Cisne; son, Corey Shaw of Danville, IL; son-in-law Terry Potter of Kinmundy; daughter, Christy (Jeremy) King of Cisne, IL; brothers, Larry (Mary) Pemberton, Carroll (Cheri) Kline and Jerry (Vicki) Kline all of Farina; sisters, Patricia Sargeant of Mt. Vernon, Debbie (Sonny) Hawkey of St. Peter; grandchildren, Lacey Hassebrock, Travis Potter, Dylan McPeak, Grant McPeak, Dakota King; great grandchild, Macey Potter. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Tammy Potter. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, IL where the family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, March 20, 2015. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the J.W. Neal Funeral Home. Interment will be in Christian Home Cemetery, Louisville, IL. Memorial Donations may be made in her name, Kay Hinkle and will be received at the funeral home.
