Kathryn Headlee

Kathryn Louise Headlee, age 81, of Louisville, IL, passed away at 7:30 am, Friday, March 1, 2013, at Lakeland Rehabiliation & Health Care Center in Effingham, IL. Louise was born September 19, 1931 in Marion County, Illinois, the daughter of Paul and Zettie (Fulfer) Courson. She was united in marriage with Homer Lee Headlee on February 25, 1950 in Nashville, Tennessee and with this union were two sons and two daughters. She was a faithful member of the Louisville Baptist Church and enjoyed her time as a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Homer Lee Headlee of Louisville; son, Jay Dee Headlee and wife Cheryl of Effingham; daughters, Sandy Irwin and husband Larry of Louisville, and Lee Ann Perry and husband Greg of Effingham; brother, Paul Courson and wife Jennie of Dieterich; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends who will all miss her dearly. Louise wwas preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Zettie Courson; and son, Robert "Bobby" Wayne Headlee. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville, IL where the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Monday, March 4, 2013. Funeral service will be at J. W. Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 4, 2013, Van McQueen officiating. Interment will be at Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville, IL Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and will be received at the funeral home.
