Judith Goodman

FLORA - Judith Ann Goodman, 84, of Flora passed away at 10:57 PM, Sunday, December 13, 2020 at the Flora Gardens Care Center in Flora. Judith was born on October 18, 1936, in Joliet, Illinois the daughter of the late Frances and Helen (Cherry) Ray. She married Frank Everett Goodman, Jr., on August 24, 1957, in the Grace Bible Church in Shorewood, Illinois and they shared 58 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on December 25, 2015. Judy had worked various jobs over the years including working at the Spartan Manufacturing company in Flora and for Flora Gardens and the Ranch Motel as a cook. She loved to crochet, gardening, and cooking. She loved her dogs and her cats. Judy is survived by her 3 children; Dennis (Candy) Goodman, of Flora, Doug (Sandy) Goodman, of Flora, Chris (Lisa) Goodman, of Collinsville, MS, 8 grandchildren; Lucas (Tonya), of Flora, Sean, of Flora, Anthony (Jaz), of St. Elmo, Amber (James), of Flora, Amanda, of Flora, Aaron, of Flora, Cody (Kynsleigh), of Mississippi, and Cory, of Mississippi, and 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters; Toots (Larry), of New Lennox, Illinois, Cheryl, of Joliet, Illinois, 2 brothers; Kenneth Ray, of Illinois, and Jack Ray, of Illinois. Mrs. Goodman was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son; Frank William Goodman, infant daughter, grandson; Mitchell Zimmer. It was Mrs. Goodman's wishes for cremation and there will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fur A Good Paws, in Flora. McGriff & Triplett Funeral Home in Louisville is entrusted with the care and arrangements.
