John Wilkins

John Ray Wilkins, age 78, of Ingraham, passed away, Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 10:55 pm at his home in Ingraham. John was born May 23, 1939 in Flora, IL the son of the late Truman Ray and the late Lillian Berniece (Colborn) Wilkins. He was united in marriage to Alice Pickel on February 10, 1975 in Olney, IL. He spent his time employed by Weber's Clothing and Jewelry of Teutopolis for 55 years as a watch maker and a clock repairman. He is survived by his wife, Alice Wilkins of Ingraham; sons, John Ray Jr. Wilkins of Olney, Bradley Keith of Ingraham; daughter, Michelle Dawn Wilkins of Ingraham; brother, William Lee (Maria) Wilkins of Teutopolis; sisters, Leona Thomas of Olney, Peg (Jim) Kuenstler of Olney; grandchild, Brittney (Jason) Staley of Olney; great grandchildren, Adalynn Rae and Axton Wayne Staley of Olney. John is preceded in death by his parents, step-son, Stephen Jackson, brother, Berl Dean Wilkins, sisters, Mary K. Bowen, Jo Anne Foster and Joyce Roberts. Arrangements are entrusted to J.W. Neal Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will be accorded. Interment will be held at Ingraham Cemetery in Ingraham.
