Jeffrey Lawrence Charlton, age 47, of Kinmundy, IL, passed away at 12:50 AM, Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL. Jeffrey was the son of Larry Eddie Charlton and Lena Joan (Perry) Kline. He spent his time employed by Effingham Equity as a farmer. He leaves behind, his mother, Joan Kline of Kinmundy and step-father Ronald Kline of Kinmundy, former wife and mother of his children, Michelle Torres; sons, Cody (Joseana) Charlton of Lockhart, TX and Blake Charlton (girlfriend Kortni Walton of Nashville, IL) of Kinmundy, IL; daughter, Kaylee Charlton (boyfriend Raymond Karrick of Odin) of Kinmundy, IL; companion Cindy Dailey of Kinmundy; brothers, Eddie Charlton (Shelia) of Alma, Bradley Charton of Salem, and grandson, Ethan Charlton. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Charlton. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home, Kinmundy, IL, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, November 1, 2013, at Neal Funeral Home, 115 North Jefferson Street ~ PO Box 25, Kinmundy, Illinois. Funeral service will be held at J.W. Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 2, 2013. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Kinmundy, IL.
