James A Wiley, age 92 of Bryan, TX, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at Scott and White Hospital in College Station, Texas. James was born Thursday, February 15, 1923 in Louisville, IL, the son of the late Fred Wiley and the late Wilma (Clark) Wiley. He married Bonnie J. Wiley and she has preceded him in death. James was retired from the United States Military. He served as a Command Sergeant Major in the Army from 1942 until 1974. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, Korean Conflict and World War II. He is survived by daughters, Kathy Henry and Cheryl Quinn both of Bryan, TX,; brothers, Schyler Wiley and Perry (Clara) Wiley both of Louisville, IL; sisters-in-law, Lora Blair of Columbia, IL and Martha Blair of Louisville; grandchildren, Andrea Martin of Greenville, TN, Sarah Jackelen of Fitchburg, WI, James Seago of Sedalia, MO, Melanie Campbell of Clarksville, TN, Jared Henry of College Station, TX, Michael Seago of Florida. He was preceded by his parents, wife, daughters Nancy Wiley and Deborah Seago, brother Fred Wiley, and sisters Thelma Deain and Barbara Stanford. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, IL. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville where military rites will be accorded by the Louisville American Legion. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial donations may be made to the Clay County Animal Rescue Shelter and will be received at the funeral home.
