Helen B. Corrie, age 93, of Kinmundy, IL, passed away at 2:22 am on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Salem Township Hospital in Salem, IL. She was born on January 2, 1923 in Meacham Township, IL, the daughter of the late Clarence A. and the late Ella F. (Boston) Mulvany. She married Everett T. Corrie on September 14, 1940 in Charleston, Missouri. He preceded her in death on September 25, 1987. Helen enjoyed her time as a homemaker, and a member of the Kinmundy Christian Church and the Royal Neighbors of America. She leaves to mourn her passing, daughters, Patricia (Lindell) Harper of Edgewood, Gladys (Wayne) See of Kinmundy; grandchildren, Michael (Melissa) Harper of Effingham, Lori Huelskoetter of Newton, Robyn (Curtis) Krutsinger of Morrilton, Arkansas, Kelly (Toby) Gullion of Salem; great grandchildren, Blake, Brody, Rachel, Kelsey, Caden, Callie, Kruz, Kenzie, Keaton, Payton, Avery; great-great grandchildren, Jake and Landon. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Everett, infant daughter Frances Corrie, six brothers and two sisters. Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home in Kinmundy. In honor of her wishes, a graveside service will be held at Elder Cemetery on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 11:00 am. Everyone is requested to meet directly at the cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Kinmundy Christian Church and will be received by the funeral home at the cemetery.
