Harvey Curry

Harvey Eugene Curry, age 76, of Kinmundy, IL, died Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon, IL. Harvey was a member of the Salem Moose Lodge and was previously employed by the City of Berwyn, Illinois as a police officer. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korea war. He was born March 28, 1935 in Marion county, Illinois, the son of the late Cecil Eugene Curry and the late Rose P. (Pergel) Curry. He married Barbara Curry and was divorced then married Mary (Reese) Curry and she preceded him in death. He is survived by ex wife, Barbara Curry of Florida; five daughters, Lisa Curry, Susan Rodriquez, Denise Curry, and Diane Matz all of Florida, and Marie Curry of New York; one son: Harvey E. (Mary) Curry Jr., of Salem, IL; one brother, Jerry (Mary Ann) Curry of Florida; 13 grand children and two great-grand children. Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home in Kinmundy, IL where the family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday, January 2, 2012. Funeral service will be at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, Monday, January 2, 2012, Claude Howell officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Kinmundy, IL Order Flowers
