Gladys Juanita Miller, age 76, of Flora, IL, passed away at 8:50 am, Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the Flora Rehab & Healthcare Center in Flora, IL. Juanita was born November 18, 1936 in Fairfax, Oklahoma, the daughter of Dennis T. and Edna Pearl (Doggett) Miller. She was employed by Richland Memorial Hospital as an RN for 20 years as Head of Pediatrics. She was a member of the Clay City Christian Church and was also a member of the Medical Missiorary for African Christian Missions for 25 years in Zaire and Mozambique Africa.. Juanita is survived by her sister, Betty Duff of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; nieces and nephews, Ron (Shirley) Payne of Ingraham, Brad (Mandy) Clark of Louisville, Wes (Cheryl) Miller of Flora, Steve (Marcia) Miller of Flora, Mary K. (Terry) Davis of Lincoln, Jack (Pam) Clark of Strasburg, Tamara Jeans of Tennessee, Marci (Brian) Gilchrist of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Vicki (Scott) Guller of San Antonia, Texas, David T. (Ann) Miller of Pennslyvania, Denise (Marty) Schlachi of Seattle, Washington, Sandi (Ric) Morris of Shelbyville, Tennessee; brother-in-law, Gary Clark of Clay City; sisters-in-law, Nancy Miller of Clay City, and Ilah MIller of Shelbyville, Tennessee; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Edna Miller; brothers, Everett and Donald T. Miller; sisters, Cleta Mae Payne and Edna Sue Clark; nephews, Bobby and Jeff Duff; niece, Debbie Duff; brothers-in-law, Robert E. Duff and Glenn Payne. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville, IL. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the Clay City Christian Church and also from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM before the service on Wednesday. Funeral service will be at Clay City Christian Church at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 27, 2013, Ed Nichols, Tim Doggett, Larry Doggett, Ron Payne and Darrel Brandon officiating. Interment will be at Clay City Cemetery, Clay City, IL Memorials may be made to the Clay City Christian Church or the Oil Belt Christian Service Camp, Building Fund.
